    Alan, I have been looking at the tournaments section and trying to get a feel for what this is for. Is this something that could be used to manage tourny between XBox 360 teams on NFS Shift? The teams there are looking for way to have scheduled tourny's between the teams.

    Hey Alan,
    Quick thing, I'm having a bit of trouble with the site. When trying to access both of the Arcade,Competition, and when trying to access the page to send a PM it directs me to a page that says I'm not allowed access or something. This is what it says exactly "c0dak, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

    I dunno if you guys have those parts of the site still under construction or if it's a glitch with the permissions with vBulletin. Just thought I'd let you know.

The country is coming to a standstill due to snow and so is the flow of regular news, from the daily clash before Christmas we have the inevitable hangover. So its time to me to work on those titles we missed, such as Formula 1 2009 on PSP and Wii, NFS Nitro on Wii and a selection of PC titles I'm holding back till I get a decent PC, doing justice to these reviews is all important.

Not far to Christmas now and many of the big hitters are finally out, my surprise being the quality if DJ Hero, but a poor entry position into the UK software charts will be a surprising blow and disappointing under the circumstances. Lots of reviews to get done so expect to see a flurry over the next couple of weeks besides a range of features taking up to Christmas.

Another week comes to a close, didn’t go out for beers last night, instead staying in to get a few more articles sorted. Oddly it often takes longer to arrange and crop the pictures than to write the article itself, but let’s face it those finishing touches are all important. Still it’s a long way to go and a lot of work till everything looks as I would like.

I’m rubbish at blogging and I’m rubbish at Twitter but its amazing how these services are captivating the public. Next week we see the introduction of Twitter and Facebook on XB Live, indeed I’ll be at a presentation for the launch and look forward to seeing how practical these services really are.

Besides the usual constant VVV work I’ve been playing loads of Modern Warfare 2, its great, I love it, but is it better than WaW? It’s fashionable to say “OMG MW2 is the best thing ever!!”...

Blimey the weeks have been flying by and there’s hardly been a moment for me to catch my breath. Besides working hard on updating the site a lot of my time have gone into planning 2010 and what the site could offer next year. Lots of progress but at the same time there’s still a very long way to go. What is important, is if you like what we do, support us by getting involved in our community.

So more site upgrades due by the end of the month then it’ll go quiet for a while until well...
